Lanzarote from above

The island you'll see before landing.

"White houses on volcanic earth. The Atlantic on your left. The runway ahead. Five minutes before, the island chooses you."

For those who look closer

Five beaches almost no one knows.

If this house drew you in by its quiet, these discreet stretches of sand will too. Coordinates, no filters.

Puerto del Carmen · Tías · East

Playa Chica

90 metres of golden sand right beside the bustling Playa Grande. Calm waters and some of the island's best seabeds for snorkelling and diving.

Urban access on foot. Services nearby.
Tinajo · West

Playa de las Malvas

300 metres of black sand and gravel in near-total solitude. More to look at than to swim in — wind and rough sea almost always. The treasure here is landscape and silence.

12 km from Mancha Blanca on unpaved track.
Yaiza · El Golfo · Southwest

Playa del Paso

Reached on foot via a marked coastal path that skirts lava flows from El Golfo village. The walk turns an afternoon at the beach into a small adventure. 7 km away: Los Hervideros — spectacular on rough-sea days.

Coastal path from El Golfo.
Costa de Papagayo · Yaiza · South

Caletón de San Marcial

Thirty-five metres of sand and rock inside the Los Ajaches Natural Monument. Past the popular Playa Mujeres and Caletón del Cobre. Views of Fuerteventura and Lobos islet. Clean seabeds, open sea.

6 km on dirt track from Castillo del Águila.

A map with exact coordinates is included in the welcome dossier on arrival.

Ten minutes north

Arrieta, where lava becomes village.

Ten minutes by car from Costa Teguise, another Lanzarote begins. A fishing village, small houses, black sea against bleached rock. The stone changes colour when it gets wet.
